SME National Business Awards

The SME Awards strive to shine a light on the hardworking, growing, and successful SMEs and business leaders from the UK.

The SME Awards celebrate the success stories of one of the most important sectors in the UK economy. At the start of 2017 small businesses alone accounted for 99.3% of all private sector businesses, making the sector the beating heart of the UK economy.

Winning an SME National Business Award is a fantastic way to celebrate your teams, endorse your achievements and help scale your business even further.

SMEs may be overlooked by mainstream business awards for recognition despite their often innovative and creative achievements and their power to truly disrupt their industry. SME News understand the significance of this sector of businesses and each year host SME awards aimed at specific regions or industries looking to showcase some of the key players for doing great things.

The UK Finance Awards

SME News hosted The UK Finance Awards this year, for their fourth consecutive year. They examine the financial sector as a whole and want to feature those who have excelled in the past year.

With all of the measures and investments GGM Accountancy put in place in 2022, we were thrilled to have won Accountancy Practice of the Year - Cambridgeshire, at The UK Finance Awards 2022.

Last year was a huge milestone for GGM; we moved premises to enable further development for our employees, expand our team, and provide a comfortable and confidential meeting space for our clients.

We invested in our branding and marketing to raise our profile and expose our clients to insightful and useful information to help support their businesses; and we also expanded in our sponsorships and charitable work to help give back and support our local organisations.

With the recent challenges over the past few years, many SMEs have experienced numerous difficulties. However, times are changing and with the backing from the government, the UK Finance Industry is once again returning to full strength.
